Behind the Scenes at York Castle Museum

Join us on the evening of Thursday 30th January as we have an exciting opportunity to visit York Castle Museum 'after hours' and go behind the scenes of this fascinating building.

Come and see hundreds of years of York's history in one place – from the world renowned Victorian street Kirkgate, to meeting the infamous prisoners in the spooky cells and all the way to the swinging sixties. We'll hear from Siona Mackelworth, the Head of Communications and Marketing for York Museums Trust as she talks to us about the museum and how the team market this unique visitor attraction to the world.

The evening will conclude with canapés and a glass of fizz set against the atmospheric backdrop of the recreated Victorian street Kirkgate.
