Marketing Workshop – Sum up your proposition in one short sentence
Join us for this interactive marketing workshop on Thursday 21stJuly at Middletons Hotel, York, hosted by Sophie Metcalfe from Your Marketing Doctor. Delve into the very heart of your business by taking an objective viewpoint and learning how to construct and write your own single line proposition statement.
As a successful business owner you are undoubtedly great at delivering your own products or services, but sometimes you can be too close to your business to be able to actually describe what you do in a way that customers can easily understand. So when it comes to marketing, you might talk about yourself, perhaps overshare information about your business, and, in turn, possibly overlook your client’s requirements. When this happens, potential customers are less likely to buy because they cannot understand why they should.
The workshop will guide you through how to sum up your proposition in one short sentence so that you are able to clarify your commercial proposition so that it is easier to describe what you do to potential customers. This powerful statement can then be taken away and put to good use in your communications including your website, across your social medial channels, in advertising and communicated verbally at networking events. The power of your new proposition statement can also be used as a basis to inform future marketing decisions.
Refreshments will be served on arrival and a light supper and glass of wine are included in the ticket price. Time will be built into the session for networking so make sure you join us to future proof your business through this frank, open and honest, interactive session.
