Ian Cartwright Mental Health First Aid Training and Compassio Therapy

Mental Health First Aid (England) training provides delegates with the skills and confidence to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support. The training will teach people to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis - or even prevent a crisis from happening. Delegates will gain an understanding of how to support positive wellbeing and tackle stigma in the world around them.

We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health. Mental ill health can strike at any time and can affect people from all walks of life. Although things are improving, stigma still exists, and as a society we don't tend to know how to take care of our mental health like we do our physical health. This means that people may not know how to support a friend, family member or colleague experiencing a mental ill health issue, or where to go for support with their own mental health. Ian Cartwright Mental Health First Aid Training can help train you to recognise signs of mental ill health and offer support and guidance to someone who may be struggling.

Ian Cartwright Mental Health training have training options to suit a range of working hours and budgets, from the MHFA Aware Half Day, to the MHFA Two Day course. Training can be delivered online, at your premises, or other venue. Ian is a Mental Health, First Aid (England) approved Instructor Member. He has also completed safeguarding training and is DBS registered - so you will be in safe hands.
